“Jesus answered and said unto her whosoever that drinketh of this water shall thirst again; But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a living well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:13+14)
“Our fathers worshipped in this mountain, and ye say that in Jerusalem
is the place where men ought to worship.” (John 4:20)
“The woman saith unto him, ‘I know that Messias cometh which is called Christ. When he is come he will tell us all things.’” (John 4:25)
“Jesus saith unto her, ‘I that speaketh unto thee is he.’”
God wants people to worship Him in spirit and in truth. The woman was talking about living water which she wanted. Then she changed the subject to theology when Jesus began to point out the way she had been living. (John 4:15- While the woman was talking theology, she found out that she was talking theology with the Messiah Himself. She was changed! She began to share the Good News! We can share better with others after we have been with Jesus and have partaken of the living water.

Do we make up our own mountains or emergencies? Caleb asked permission to take on a mountain with giants in it. He didn’t try to take it on until it was assigned to him. “And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron. And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Shebshai and Ahaiman and Talmai, the children of Anak. And he went up hence to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.” (Joshua 15:13-15) The sons of Anak in the above scripture passage were giants. He conquered the mountain with God’s help after it was assigned to him. God allows us to face mountains and emergencies, but he never asks us to face any that we can’t handle with His help.
If we make up our own mountains or emergencies and then try to handle them in our own strength, we are setting ourselves up for trouble and probable failure. We become frustrated and are of little help to others. We are too busy being frustrated by ourselves.
When we take on the mountains with His help that He gives us to conquer, we find ourselves accomplishing things that are impossible for us to accomplish on our own. We experience the joy of success and the accomplishment of humanly impossible tasks. We grow in our Christian lives and experience great fellowship and partnership with God!
Let’s concentrate on the giants assigned to us by Him for us to defeat together.

I am like the apostle Paul in that I believe God. “Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer; for I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me.”
(Acts 27:25)
We are called to be servants of God. “But Jesus called them unto Him and said, ‘Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you; but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.’”
(Matthew 20:25-28)
I believe God; and I am His servant, not His manager. I don’t have the intelligence to manage God. He knows everything. I don’t.
Let’s let God do the managing and not question His authority. It is a privilege to be managed by our Holy God who knows everything and loves us extremely! Let us serve Him enthusiastically!

“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not; but go rather to the lost house of Israel.” (Matthew 10:5+6)
The word translated “lost” in this passage can be translated “dead”. The children of Israel were seriously lost. God did not want His chosen people to be lost! Jesus sent the disciples to seek them seriously! He sent His disciples to bring them back into the Kingdom.
God loved them! He also loves us! The Bible says that God does not want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3:9) If you or I do not get to heaven, it is not God’s fault. God wants us in heaven with Him. He calls us to come. He seriously seeks us!
People who refuse to answer God, will be seriously lost! They will not go to heaven! If we do the opposite of what God tells us to do, if we go in the opposite direction; we won’t get to where He is.
